Does your photographer use a digital camera or a regular camera? I was looking into one photographer who I liked but then I found out they don't use any digital cameras. I am not sure if that is good or bad.

Our photographer offers only digital. Film negatives usually can be scanned in if there is something digital you we interested in.

Re: photographers
Mine used all digitial. When I booked color was film & B& W was digital, so I have seen albums with both kidns & couldn't tell teh differnce. The advantage of digital is that they can give you files on CD & they can switch bw proffs to color prints & vice versa. With film you can do color to b&W , but not the other way.

Re: photographers
I personally liked the digital better. It really depends what type of album you are looking for. I loved the clarity of the film photographer we looked at. I just think that they are a little boring. However I LOVE the digital coffee books that look more like a book.
Some things to consider.... digital they can easily remove a blemish or some tupe of imperfection over & over. FIlm you are going to pay for the touch ups.
Film has richer look....but digital color can be enhanced, which is great if your day doesnt end up being sunny.
Digital does blow up as nicely as film.
Most film photographers still print digitally.
It is really a perosnal preference. I liked the artsy feel of digital. see a few photographers & you should get a feel for which style is more you. (Digital is usually a tad cheaper) GOOD LUCK

Re: photographers
My photographer uses film, unless someone really wants digital. He feels the print quality is not quite as high yet in digital as in film, though it is getting close.

Digital is actually more sharper than film. Technology has advanced. You can do more with digital, get close ups, far away, and still keep bright, sharp true color. Your photographer has to invest in a GOOD camera! Like 8-10 megapixel professional camera. 35mm film is going to be like records soon
My whole wedding was shot in Digital and every pic was clear and beautiful. The photographer can do more with a digital image.
