Hi When you all met with photographers that did digital prints are you receiving all of the files? All of the places I spoke with said you wouldn't be able to print them because they are low resolution. Does this make sense?

Not true. My photographer is giving me all pictures on a CD (so i can print whatever) and hard copy of all proofs.
+
all pix will be digital in the album (coffee table album)

They all said they were giving me a cd as well but the files will have a low resolution and be to large for regualar printing

My photographer is giving me a cd with all of our pictures and I am getting all of our proofs.
Our Album will be digital.
I was never told anything about low resolution.

Our photographers gave us both a low resolution CD and a high Resolution DVD included in the price.

a DVD has more space on it... so photogs will often save all of your high resoultion photos onto a DVD, instead of using numerous CDs...

if they're giving you low-resolution files, they're not giving you the full files they're using - i'd be weary. we're getting ours, in full size, and i think this was standard with our photography. and every photographer we saw, i asked about this specifically and getting full size files was never a problem. try pushing them more on this point. it costs them nothing to do this.
