Hello - I am a bride planning my LI wedding from Boston. I am planning to make a trip down next weekend to speak with some photographers (my FI has to work so it is a solo mission). I have read a lot of things on this board about various photographers. I was wondering who you are using and what made you decide to choose a certain photographer.
Also - did you meet with any photographers that completely turned you off?
This board has been so helpful to me thus far, so thanks in advance for your help with my next planning task!

Actually it was a friend of mine that turned me on to Liz's original post. I never go on these wedding sites.Especially since my wedding recently past.
No, I do not work for B rett M atthews. I felt sorry for them getting bashed by Lisette and I thought they should go on and explain to other bride's what her complaints were. They weren't interested, so I did it for them.
You are certainly entitled to your opinion, but your complaint seems more about your parent albums then the actual pictures.
Here's some good advice - NEXT TIME READ YOUR CONTRACT MORE CAREFULLY.

It's a good thing that you are not reading anymore because you are making yourself and B rett M atthews sound bad (as if they need any help). First, the fact remains that B rett M atthews is disclosing personal information about one customer to another. Extremely unprofessional. Second, the fact that B rett M atthews puts 'buzz words' in their contract and expects customers to know what they mean is incomprehensible. It's just plain shady. Third, I am on this site getting ideas for my sister in law's wedding (she does not have a computer). So if you are throwing a dig at me for being on this site even though I am already married, mind your own business. What are you doing on here?

I hope you didn`t think I was calling you rude and immature; that was meant for Mrs. Michaels. Don`t pay any further attention to that person. If she is in fact a bride and not a vendor, she is a very bitter person. No-one has the right to pass judgment on anyone, so do not take her negative energy to heart. Mama always said if you don`t have anything nice to say, don`t say anything at all! She really should listen to Mama!! Now, happy thoughts to everyone and enjoy this beautiful day!!!!!

Don't worry. I'm sure your pictures will turn out beautiful. I sincerely hope you have a good experience with them. I'm sure they don't want any more bad posts. Don't stress over it. Just remember that it's your wedding. You call the shots. Best of luck to you!
