going to check out Duet and Velvet this week i hope i need to call and make apts. anyone have their #'s ???

The Velvet Studio is 631-425-4900 Bob is grat and will return your phone call if you leave a message. I would recommend looking at your other first and then going to BOB because he will work with what you want...not that package stuff. He does item by item.

thanks thats what ive been hearing so i think im gong to plan on seeing duet frist.
but I know they arent there today, I was trying to make another appointment to get a few more questions answered, and they said they wouldnt be there for the holiday.

I went to see Velet on Sat night you need an appointment. They were great! My friend is using Duet she said they are great too. Both are very reasonable. I loved Velet's work.

1. What is your style? 2. Ask to see a whole wedding ablum? 3. Do you shoot weddinh primarily? 4. Can we see indoor and outdoor shots? 5. For how many hours? 6. How many shot will be taken? 7. How many proff will we see? 8. How many albums are included in the cost? 9.How many shots in each alubum? 10. Are all the same size.
Here are just some questions from the book I have. Good Luck!!! Bob was the first person I went to look at I didnt book yet .Two of my friends booked him!
It really depends on what you want: I wanted a photographer at my house before the wedding so that I get professional pics of me getting ready....but some places give you that.
I wanted the photographer there also at my house. I have viewed videos where the bride is reading a letter from her groom and I think that that is something that I would like to have captured.
Epics- where? when? cost or what do you get?
What type of touch ups they do? Do they do black and white with a splash of color? sepia? Do they take cars out of the background and stuff like that. Lines out of faces (my mom is going to love me for that)
how many photographers? Usually girls dont want more than one because you may see them everywhere...I dont ever really notice photographers at weddings unless my cfrazy friends are porpusely trying to get into the pics.
Two photograrphers capture both you and Fh's first sight of each other when you are walking into the church. That moment captured should be one of the most important. You work your whole time for when he will see you first.
If they have access to any parks. i have heard that some photographers need permits to photograph in some places...I can only think they do that so that the site gets recommeneded. does this make sense?
Do they include THank Yous and save the Dates? How many? are they cards or slide in picture type?
When will you get your proofs? When will you get your cd of proofs? Does the CD of the proofs have their copyright on it? This can be a pain in the neck to constantly go into photoshop and change.
How many pics in the album? can you make any changes to a storybook album before it goes into print?
That is all I can really think of ight now Sorry for the novel but I hope that this helps. Goood luck I think that you will be happy with BOB at Velvet. We dont hear that much about him hear but i really feel like he works with you.
I want some riske/sexy photos and I asked about that also. i want the photographer to feel comfortable and have ideas for us. Not pornogreaphich (LOL) just more than traditional.

Did you order the parent album from him. I mentioned a different album then what he had and he said FIND IT AND I WILL DO IT.
I am in search of it and posted to the site for it. He is amazing to work with he just seems so flexible and i met a girl there that was picking up her picks and she had nothing but great things to say about him. It gives you a better feeling. All I ever see of Velvet is Camacho I love her pics but wanted to get someone elsses insight also.
