photographers.....

does anyone have any input on these photographers
michael o'neill, ray o'connor, spelman, and cassarino---
---what are their packages like (prices)---do you get negatives included, do they use digital and film or just one of those, and are proofs included?
-------if any of you have used them-please fill me in on your experience with them-----and if any of you have only met w/them, please fill me in on their packages.....thanks:)

We are using Spelman, the package we selected is about $3600, its includes alot.
Our album
2 parent albums
1 wall folio
1 favorama book
a couple of large prints
engagment portrait
proofs
Christine & 2 assistants
Thats all I can think of(I don't have my comtract handy)
She came VERY highly recommended & she has been a pleasure to deal with. She has other packages as well, I think you show go see her work. good luck,

Can only tell you abt Spellman, I will be using their studio for my wedding. Lowest package was around $3000. I'm taking the middle package, $3400, includes all proofs, negatives free after 1 or 2 years(I forget), My album has 50 pics, 24 pics in parent albums, engagement portrait, and a few other pics. They shoot with film, both black and white, and color. Very nice women, with beautiful pics!

I'm using Ray O'Connor.

My package was about $3500 and that was the deluxe package. It includes more than I even need....(IMO)

I wanted to go to a local photographer and I really thought that their pricing was fair and the pictures that I saw came out really good.

I'm from Northport, so I wanted someone who was familiar with the local area. We're taking our epics tomorrow down in Npt. park...I'll let you know how it goes.

I didn't get Ray for our weddings (he was booked) so I got Doug...he seems really nice and his assistant is really nice as well.

I get 2 parent albums, B&W, color and Sepia prints...negatives, 40 pg album, engagement settng and many other extras!

I liked Christine from Spelman very much - but she did not want to do our wedding because we chose not to see each other before and we have no time inbtween - so pics were only going to be taken during cocktail hour and she was not comfortable with that

We used Cassarino - don't remember what there packages actually started at, maybe $2000. Proofs and negatives are included, film not digital. We used them in June, and are proofs are beautiful.

Thank you all for responding--i am still trying to decide between them....can't make up my mind---i will make 2 other appointments with 2 more photographers recommended by girls on this site---this is a tough decision--i want to get the most for my $$ and at the same time get the best quality--i know you all know what i mean!!:)---thanks for responding and hopefully i will have my decision by the end of this week!!!
