Photographers

I got two referrels for Photographers and I was wondering if any of them were good. One Photographer is Duval, in Wantagh and the other is Patken Photography in Mineola.

We are using Patken next month for our wedding. I loved all of their work.
Make sure you go for you engagement photos early if you book them. You aren't assigned a photographer untill you have your 'E' shoot. If you go early you will have a bigger selection of photographers.

I didn't use either of those photographers, but I saw Diane's proofs from Patken, and all I can say is WOW!

I dont know those two, but if you want another name, I am using Peter Oberc and his pictures are incredible. they really capture the emotion and he does all different styles. Plus, he is a really nice guy so i dont think he will be annoying and obtrusive on the day of!

Two of my friends used Duval and their pictures came out wondeful. I did not use them because when my FH and I went to speak to them, they did not like the idea that I wanted to start to change alot of things from the package and my FH did not like his attitude but my friends loved him. I have never seen pictures done by Patken but I do know that I called them about three times when I was looking for a photographer and no one ever called me back. I decided to use a photographer in Brooklyn (where I live) who I have known. You should try DeVito Studios in Rockville Centre, speak to Phil. We loved them. If we did not chose the photographer in Brooklyn, we were going to go with DeVito Studios.

I'm using Duval (Andy is the photographer) because I know of two people who used them and were very happy with the results. I did book them to do the video at my ceremony also. They're pretty reasonably priced and I found them easy to deal with. Good luck!

I used Patken-Steve, and I LOVED my pics, as well as my album. Steve was so much fun to work with, and we told him we wanted to make our cocktail hour, and he got us there.

I am not using Jack Roman, (I found him AFTER I booked my photographer) but I have to say that his work is absolutely UNBELIEVABLE! My photographer, Maria Celeste has worked with him, and they have a similar style, so I'm happy! One ques...Did you book him on your own or through Mark Kauffman Studios? Good Luck!

KC, is he from New Zealand? I am using Ariana Studios and Peter is who they suggested - going to meet with him next week but didn't get his last name. Just wondering, thanks!

I am also using Steve from Patken, I was very impressed with my epics. Cant wait to see my wedding ones next May!!
