i am looking to make appoitnments with following photographers. (no video).. just looking for a basic package. not looking to spend too much money. 1 bridal album, 2 parents, proofs, thank yous and few enlargements. can anybody give me any feedback on them (good & bad). If available any package prices. ugh i think this is 2nt toughest vendor to decide on!

12th night has the best packages for what you are looking for and they give great advise on how to make your own albums. You get all your rights.
I see you have Patkan on your list. I went to see them and from what they told me you have to get an album and you can't get CD of pics until they have done all your work that need from them.

i got most (including Patken) from LI Weddings magazines.. i only met w/one photographer & got a quote of 6,500 (with video)... ugh!!

I just booked Patken and I LOVED their work when I went there. I looked at so many before I decided and they were mid-range prices. Not the most expensive and not the cheapest. One thing I really liked was the parent folios instead of albums. They're like a tri fold (good quality folio) with I believe 12-15 pics. That's about the same as the parent album and it's easier and nicer to look at. Something they can keep out at home and not an album that after a while collects dust. I also like that they let you kinda 'interview' their photographers. See who works well with you and your FH. This way you know eachother before the wedding day. I would def check them out.
