Photographers-

So far we met with one photographer who seemed a bit pricey. I am just wondering who everyone is using and if you can let me know what you are paying. We would need 3 parent albums since my parents are divorced.

We went to see two photographers today, Imagine and Gray Studios, and I also would need 3 albums.

Imagine was more expensive for photography, but we both agreed that they were better quality as well. We'll probably go with them, but may look at one more just to be sure. When I asked about the third parent album, she suggested a folio instead which would be less expensive, and knowing my father, more appropriate, so I liked the idea.

Gray was nice but not really what we were looking for and their price for videographer was much more expensive than Imagine for less work, which is another reason we're leaning towards Imagine.

I spent about $5K. I know brides spending $2500, spending $10K and everything in between.

we are using Patken. i think the price we have is about $3000. I didn't mind how much it was since we will always have our pictures to look back at.
We could have gotten 3 parent albums and the price would not have that much more. If you need more info, let me know...

We used Imagine Studios, we booked them back in May of 2001, so we know their prices have increased since we booked them. Price was not a determining factor, not saying we wanted to spen 10k but we wanted great pictures and we were willing to spend the extra money.

Thanks everyone for responding so quick-you guys are great! I actually just called Patken and have an appt next Thursday night-I think w/ Steve. So far there prices seem to be in our range and I heard there work is pretty good. I will let everyone know how it goes.

We used Spelman Studios-they are a vendor on here. Christine is great to work with. I think we got alot of quality pictures for our money. FM me if you would like more details

We are paying $2950 which included our engagement pics. They came out great. $2700 w/o e-pics. our e-pics cost more cuz we got a copy of all the pics instead of choosing only the ones we liked. Another great thing about him is we only had to put down $400 to hold the date & don't have to pay anything else til AFTER the wedding! Tell him Kim sent you.

We are usuing Mark Kauffman and are spending about $5K. What I liked about Mark is that he was willing to work with you on what packages you wanted. He added things when we booked and he is very nice to deal with. If you want more info - FM me.
