Okay, I came up with a list of about 14 photographers, thanks to all of your suggestions. Now I need to narrow down this list. Ultimately it will be FH's decision because he is into photography, but I want to give him somewhere to start. I would really like to keep it affordable also. Here's the list: Velvet,Thomas Paul, Duet, 12th Night, Infinite Images,Leli, Blue Daisy, Patken, **************, ADA, Imagine Studios, Proline Studios, Déjà vu, Paul Marino. What do you think? Any input is appreciated.

we booked with Duet, and are getting a lot of the money, after taxes its just under 5k, includes albums, video, e-shoot and a lot of pictures

I loooove Duet. I booked just one photog. and am getting 10 hrs and my printed proofs, plus all pics on a dvd, for $2100. I am making my own albums. But they have great prices no matter what package you get and their pics are absolutely amazing. My sister used them 4 years ago, too. Her pics are amazing too!

We're using ADA and are happy so far. Our e-pics came out really nice.

We used Velvet and were happy with their work.
Watch out with ADA - I know they do great work, but 2 of my friends have used them recently and ADA has been VERY slow with getting the proofs to them, plus they keep giving my friends the run around...

We used ACandidImage and they were good for the money but had some issues with them as mentioned fairly in my review.
Friends of mine have sued both Angelica Glass and Blue Daisy and the pics were FABULOUS!

I used Thomaspaul....he's phenomenal & such a great guy here's a link to my review w/tons of pics:
blue daisy does beautiful work.......my cousin also recently used Duet - she loved them.
but in all honesty, i dont have enough good things to say about Tom. I had him & colleen...they are both fab

patken did our wedding photos. i wont' have my proofs for a few weeks, but steve did our pics and was an absolute delight to work with. we were so happy with him.
i found out about blue daisy after i booked my day of photographer, but mariann from blue daisy did my boudoir pics, and she is AMAZING!! she is the sweetest person, and is so talented.

We booked with Paul Marino. Hes work is amazing!! He was the photographer at three weddings we've been to everyone loved him and their albums came out great! For us there wasn't really any other options.

We are using Paul Marino. We were so impressed with his work and his style. He also did my sisters wedding and her brother in-laws wedding so we know that he delivers in the end. If you want more info FM me.
