Hey girls. I need to start making appts. for FH and I to look at photographers. I am a little nervous about this because of the package prices I have seen mentioned on here. Can anyone recommend some photographers that are reasonably priced that we should consider meeting with? I would appreciate it. TIA!

I recommend SilverFox. You can have them do the photos and get dvd of proofs for a very reasonable price and hold off on any decision about an album until later. They freeze the album prices at the time you sign your contract. we did this in Nov 2006 and in Jan went for our album. So it's better for your budget.
They have several photogs so you can look at albums and pick the style you like. We are very pleased with our pics and the service has been very good.

We booked with Deja Vu Studios. I am very pleased with their pricing and they are wonderful to work with.
Remember, you do not have to take a pre-designed package. There were things that we didn't want (e-pics, video) so I had a package designed for my needs and wants. This might come out to be less expensive.
If you are on a tight budget, don't skimp on the photography. The flowers will wilt, the invitations will get thrown out, and the favors will be forgotten but your photos are forever.

I'm using Patken...Any photo place you go to if you tell them you are on a budget they should be able to work with you.

Ok so I am thinking 12th Night, Patken, Proline, and Duet are photogs I should check out.
