Hi ladies. Thank you to everyone who has been helping me find a photographer. I have narrowed it down and would like to hear from anyone who has used the following photographers. Let me know your thoughts!

If anyone can give positive or negative comments about these photographers and/or post links to pictures that would be helpful. I think this is too many to meet with so I'm trying to narrow it down.

we used Silverfox and were happy with the pics. think they are reasonable too. pics in my lib also album layout pages there too. and also slideshow in video lib. take a look at them.

i don't have any personal experience with them, but i have a bunch of clients that had wonderful WONDERFUL experiences with Imagine Studios..i've seen nothing but beautiful work from them

ps: a great idea would be to do a search on here but put 'The brides review' in the forum, and then where it says 'word or phrase' type in the photographers name...this will pull up previous brides who've actually used them, and anything they had to say good luck!

Same as above poster. I would search under Brides Review for these photogs. If brides posted proofs, you will get a good feel.
My top two were Shira Z and Twelfth Night. I booked twelfth night because I wanted 2 photographers and of course, LOVED their work. I know its ALOT on your list but you DEFINITELY want to meet with your top 5 or so. Personality has SO MUCH to do with this. Your photographer (s) will be with you all day, you want to make sure you like them and that you LIKE having them around. You also want to ensure 'they get you'. You don't want to clash with them.
I was at a wedding where the photographer was just plain NASTY. He scolded the MOB and made us all nervous. You don't want that. Don't worry, it's no one on your list!

I booked Imagine Studios. They are my favorite vendor! You'll find the pics of other brides that used them...and the pics are amazing!

I agree with advice 150%! Just because others have good things to say about a photographer doesn't mean that YOU will have a good experience with him/her. I met with 6 photographers...all had good work (some better than others, some more $$ than others), and all had received very good reviews on LIW, but how they answered my questions and treated me was what really swayed my decision.

Thanks everyone. Does anybody else have experiences with these photographers? Are there any that I am leaving off - I am trying to stay within $3k for the photos - I love the natural/photojournalism look. If I could afford Blue Daisy that is my absolute favorite...

I met with Shira Z and Imagine Studios. They were both really, really nice and their pics were amazing. I don't think you could go wrong with either one of them. Good luck

I think you should narrow it down to your top 3 , Other then their work , its really important to see if they are the type of people you want around you and your guest and if you feel comfortable with them!
The reason I booked Jadore was because not only did i like their work , But i just felt great energy from them , Kinda silly but felt a comfort in knowing they understood love and how important my wedding day pictures are to me and Mike.
Their blog felt very personal and had testimonial videos!
This is your day..Take your time in getting to know each photographer..Just follow your gut and chose who YOU like best!
