Hi everyone! My fiance and I will be getting married next July in Oceanside, NY and are looking for recommendations for photographers!
Of course we'd like to capture some great traditional shots, but we are focused on finding a photographer who can offer a compelling photojournalistic approach.

We are using Duet. We fell absolutely in love with them, and love the mix of traditional and journalistic photos that they capture. We are also getting alot for our money, so that was definetly a plus too! Hope this helps, Good luck!

I LOVVVEE Patken (who i'm booked with). I would say look at Patken, Thomas Paul and Duet...
I would highly recommend Allan Zepeda. He is doing our wedding next september and i LOVE his work. He works with Elan Documentaries based out of Manhattan and is a bit pricey but FH and I really wanted to splurge on an excellent photographer since we will not be doing video.
I second this!! my sister used them, and then we used them for a family photo thing for my mom and now I am using them AND a friend of ours...they are THAT good...
just go to the wedsite and look at the blog site. He is amazing.
