Photographers

I am just starting to look at photography and videography and don't know where to start. Any recommendations? I'd like to use the same place for both.

I would start by trying to make a budget so that you can narrow down who you want to see. Then you can check out some of the websites and if you see something you like then go check them out.

One caveat - many places that do photo and video are NOT as strong in the video aspects. You will find many people go with two different places for photo and video - if you choose a reputable company they will work great together. I would recommend that you check out some video companies - also - you can sometimes get a better deal with the video company (but that really depends on who you are looking at).

The Cherry Valley Country CLub is beautiful. My brother got married there 8 years ago. Thanks for all the info. I'll start researching your suggestions today!

We just booked VIP...John was really nice and accommodating! we felt the package was fairly priced and we could tell that he enjoyed the photography that he did. It was obvious to us that photography was the important aspect to him!
I have info on Marco photography, Duet (photo only) and VIP if you are interested.

I would develop a budget and go from there becuase that will help you narrow the field down.

My photographer didn't make the list, but I thought he was AMAZING!!!

We used Ferlise in Levittown for both photography and video and we were very pleased with everything. We had our proofs and our video six days after our wedding and we just got our albums last week....THEY WERE PERFECT!!! We love them. FM me if you need more info!

Definetly have an idea in mind for how you envision your day to be photographed. Do you want traditional, photojournalistic, mix? Have a budget in mind as well.

We booked Verdi. My sister used them for her wedding and they were amazing - their website and albums are phenomenal.

Other photographers that I've seen on here that I thought were equally as talented:

Imagine, B rett M atthews & Mark Kauffman.

If you do a search by photographer's name, you will most likely see a bunch of pics from brides who have posted reviews.

Ours is not used by anyone on here either, but we clicked with them right away! I'm very excited to have them do our wedding!! WE are doing e-shots on Nov 2nd. If you want their info, FM me....I'm getting a husband and wife team, traditional and photojournalistic photography.

I am using DUET and found them to be the most affordable. I really liked their work, their album is a bit differnet then most. Check out the Official DUET PHOTOGRAPHY THREAD.

Check out the Patken thread on this website and then make an appt. stop in and look through their albums, they customize your pkg for you so you really get what you want and if you can get Doug ...hes really funny and a great guy as well as an awesome photographer!!!
