Photographers in Nassau Cty

Im in the process of looking for a great photographer/video person. If any one knows of good ones, that aren't through the roof, could someone please let me know.

My wedding in 11/15/03. I know it's a little early for photographers, but I want to research all the big vendors before moving down to Florida to live with my FH.

We used Glenmar Studios in Roslyn. We only used the photographer, so I can't give you info on video, but they do that as well. We got a great deal (our package was $2,495) and we were more than pleased with our proofs. We look forward to getting our albums!!

Let me know if you need more specifics. Glenmar has been in business a long time, but don't advertise. They've been in business this long without commercial advertisements - it say a lot about them.

We used Patken Photographers.
They have an office in Mineola.
I just did my epics and loved their work!

I also booked Glenmar for my 7/4/03 wedding. I booked them in Aug '01.

I did not see their video but I know they do offer it.

I paid about $2,500 for my photos and I just had my engagement photos tonight. I should have the proofs in about 10 days and I will post when I get them.

We used Cassarino Studios, they have an office in Mineola. Our proofs are beautiful, and I don't consider their prices to be 'through the roof'. Check them out. Good Luck!

I booked Cassarino too. I am 2 months before you and I booked last month. If you try and negotiate they are pretty well priced for hte QUALITY you are getting.

I also researched video alot and found North Shore Video in Woodbury very reasonably priced and great video. I booked them too.

Another vote for Glenmar, we will be using them for our August 03 wedding. Karen, I look forward to seeing your engagement pictures! We are planning to have ours done in Oct, Tom is our photographer and he said that we could take them outside. Should be nice w. the leaves changing.

I used Gray Studios in Floral Park. I had some disappointment with my photos initially, b/c some shots were missed on the wedding day. But, that is partially b/c I didn't make a must-have photo list like I had planned.

However, I just proofed my album two weeks ago, and I am thrilled with the end result. My pictures look stunning - especially my wall portraits - I cannot wait to frame them!

I would recommend going to look at their work. We used Prosper, who IMO, is better at formals than candids. If you are looking for more candid photography of your day, definitely look at Michael (the owner's son) or Stephen. They are both phenomenal candid photographers, and you will not be disappointed.

Another pleased Cassarino customer here!! My proofs are beautiful and my portrait came out amazing!!! I found their prices were the same if not less then some of the other studios.

I had George S and I absolutely LOVED him!!! My 2 1/2 yr. old nephew (RB) fell in love w/him and was following him all over, which worked well for the pictures!! He was so good w/everyone wanting to take pictures and took some really awesome shots. We went to Gerry Park (other side of Roslyn Duck Pond) and it was the hardest thing for me and my husband to pick out our album!! Over 4 hours!! Everyone who helped us was very cooperative and very helpful to us because we couldn't agree on our portrait!!! You will not be disappointed with your pictures. Who's your photographer?

My photographer is supposed to be Anthony Vasquez but it doesn't specifically say on my contract. Was yours on the contract??????? Thanks!

Honestly, I don't think it was on the contract. I think she (Silvana) told me that he was probably going to be the photographer and then when they sent that booklet (about a month or so before) it said the photographer's name and his number so that you can call him up and discuss what you want.
