So I narrowed it down to 2 photographers for the big day...
Michael O'Neill and/or Brt Matthews
I love the albums that BM showed me but I've been reading some bad reviews about them.
Anyone have experiance with one or the other?

Not necessarily, it could just mean that they are not a LIW vendor, doesn't mean it's for a bad reason. Even though that does seem to be the obvious. Can you space out the company so we'll be able to read who you mean?

I don't know anything about the first. But a friend of mine used BM last July and she was very happy.

Im using BM and I love them!!! There are some epics in my album. I had to scan them in so the quality isnt great. I know on here they dont have the best reviews but that didnt stop me. My experiance with them has been nothing but outstanding. FM me if you have any questions. Good Luck!!

I saw Michael O'Neil...I thought his work was fabulous but we chose to go with someone else.
He had great before and after pictures but he was a little pricey for us for what his package offered.

if I read thru the thread here on newlywed board correctly, the bride does not get a dvd of proofs AT ALL from Brtt Mattws and must reprint everything thru him for $$$$
Not necessarily, it could just mean that they are not a LIW vendor, doesn't mean it's for a bad reason. Even though that does seem to be the obvious. Can you space out the company so we'll be able to read who you mean?
they don't automatically **** non LIW vendors.
we used Silverfox and their name shows and they are not an LIW vendor.
I think either there was problems with the vendor or the vendor themselves asked that their name not show.
maybe Ron can clarify that??

im using michael o'neill and i absolutely love his work!! everyone i know thats used him has loved him! he owns the company and he's the only photographer so u get him! he also uses assistants for lighting and such. he is pricey but definitely worth it. its one thing that we wanted to splurge on cuz pics are important. he also knows my father from town (we are from northport and so is he) so he just came highly recommended overrall lol.

Non LIW vendors are NOT ******ed out. Ron ain't shady like that.
I believe a few years ago a LIWer had a legal dispute with BM. That's usually how these things happen.

I used Brett Mat thews and LOVED them!! My pictures and albums came out beautifully!! They are expensive and they will nickle and dime you BUT I think they were worth it!! We used Chris and Tom and were very happy!

we're using BM and have really loved them so far. in all fairness, i will say that i expect the actual album creation to tack on several hundred more dollars at a minimum after the wedding, but their work is AMAZING. even my epics are stellar. only downside as far as I'm concerned is the inability to get the images on disk, but that's so they control the reprints. I was told by them you can buy /have (not sure) the images after five years

Marie Said it... I also used BM and they were absolutely amazing... check out both Marie and I albums... we got married just a few days apart... both of us had Chris and Tom...

My friend used B Mathews and said it took almost 2 years to get her album. That there is only one person that does the album @ a time. She wasn't very happy with their work.

i met with BM and didnt like the fact that they wouldnt give you your pics on a dvd like the other photographers...
