Hi... We're getting married August 12, 2010, and just beginning to research photographers. Any one have any good/not good advice? What have been recent average prices??? Thanks!

Duet!!!!! they are great.... We went to 5 different ones and they gave us the best price and the most stuff. I will fm info..... They have an office in Huntington and NYC Good Luck! We are going with Alberto but all their photographers are great

I'm using Blue Daisy for photo and Love in Progress for video. They're separate companies but work together all the time and have a great relationship. I both of them!

We're going with 12th Night, but keep in mind besides for price that this person will be with you for about 12 hours, will be giving you posing directions, will be helping to assemble your family. We went with 12th Night because we loved their talent (and in the end, that's what you want to pay for!!) and felt confident that the photographers there could work well with us and with our family.

Proline & Park Avenue were great for photography... if my Uncle hadn't offered to do our photography, we prob would've gone w/ one of those

Duet is absolutely amazing...we loved them!! After going to see six others they were just what we were looking for. We are using JPI films for our video. His work is to die for...definitely the best we saw!! Good Luck :)

I went with Duet. They have GREAT prices and offer a lot. I checked out a lot of the brides' reviews (girls that actually used them) and they had so many great reviews!! I was hooked.

I wholeheartedly recommend Paul Marino. His work is amazing and he was a delight to have around on our wedding day. He was totally unobtrusive, but still got such amazing pictures. I actually teared up looking at some of our proofs. It's going to be hard to choose pics for our thank you and album!
