Photographer/Videographer E-mail?

Hi All-
As I've said on here before, I work 890830485 hours a day and NEVER have the time to visit vendors unless I leave work early, which is really hard to do. Can I e-mail photographers/videographers that I have in mind for quotes rather than going to sit with them? If yes, what kind of questions do I ask? If I give them my approx budget will they just go off of that price? What should I expect to receive from a package?

I just ask them if they are available for that day of your wedding and if they could send you their package and quote information.

Also let them know when you're avb to meet with them and give them a good time they could call you back.

SO good luck, that's what I've been doing =) it's hard when we all have to work 24/7 and trying to do wedding stuff.
