My FI and I really just have to decide on our photographer and videographer... We have a pretty good list of people we want to talk to but before we make all of these appointments, we'd appreciate any feedback and/or info you could give us if you've met with any of these vendors before... Thanks!

Re: Photographer/Videographer Feedback?
I've met with Duet and I booked them on the spot. I was really excited when I saw their albums and thier video. The price blew me away for such incredible work. They threw in a bunch of extras that I needed for nothing, and most of all, they are such nice people. I would definitely check them out!!

Re: Photographer/Videographer Feedback?
I booked ProLine... they are one of my recommended vendors... we went to see a few others, and I just really liked their work... also the guy I met with was really nice and flexible and really tried to give us everything we wanted...
I second the vote for Duet. Their work is amazing and very nice.

Re: Photographer/Videographer Feedback?
I haven't looked into photo/video yet, but plan on meeting with Duet.. Is there any specific person I should work with?? I noticed that a lot of there prints are in black and white, would anyone suggest a photographer that shoots mostly in color?

Re: Photographer/Videographer Feedback?
What kind of price range is Duet? I am getting married Aug 2005 and am just starting to look for my photographer.
Ask for Nicole. You will meet with her husband Eric. They are very flexible and I'm sure anyone on here will be more than willing to answer your questions or point you in the direction to the answer. My posts are on various thread so just do a search. If I started talking about them here the post would be a few pages. I knew immediately once I met with them. Just like I did when I walked into Flowerfield. Feel free to FM , email , or AIM me ( same name ). anytime.
Best Wishes,
Thomas
I have the 2003 prices and details but they have raised the prices by 700 and I'm not sure of the specific package details since I went there in Feb to book. They may have changed. It's best to call. Remember to voice all of your concerns or write them down when you think of them. Eric is very flexible and you can see the love they put into their work. Everything is done in house. It was very important to me that the work be in house. I didn't want problems with seperate companys or third party's. If I wanted something alot of other vendors told me it was extra. Most of those options were all inclusive and the packages aren't set in stone. So if you want sepia just ask.
See I got started

Re: Photographer/Videographer Feedback?
Hey I went with my Friend to Patken's who is also getting married at the CLM and we went home talked to our Fiances and went backed and booked them right away. There pics were awesome looking. Also they are a house vendor for CLM and you will get a discount on the price. I am getting married at the Watermill but since my friend and I went together they gave the house discount also. So def check them out.

Re: Photographer/Videographer Feedback?
Patken is a house vendor for CLM? CLM didn't say anything about them and when we went to see Patken we didn't get a discount for coming from CLM. I never saw one pic they took at CLM when I went to see them....

Re: Photographer/Videographer Feedback?
No Patken isn't a house vendor as far as I know! It was just a place we were thinking of looking into :) If you find out otherwise could you let me know as well? Thanks :)

Re: Photographer/Videographer Feedback?
We've checked out Patken and Duet since we posted the message... Duet we were not impressed with and Proline we were very impressed with, although I am susprised to hear that they took a lot of traditional photos. Friends of ours have used them and are going to show us their album and DVD so we can see 'real' peoples pictures, not their 'best of' albums...
Still have a few more to check out :) Thanks for all your input!
