What kinds of prices is everyone paying, We got a quote yesterday and think it seems too high...

On average, photography can cost anywhere from $3K - 5K depending on the package and what you're getting. However there are some photographers that do great work for less than that.
You can knock off the price if you don't want albums, or enlargements, and things like that.

My photographer was around $3000 but I have not albums just enlargements and all rights to my negatives and proofs. I am sure you can get a package around mine with albums but not with the negatives.

w/video, 3 albums, 150 TY, and some reprints we are paying a little under 5000....

i think you'll be hard pressed to find someone to shoot your wedding, including your album and parents albums for less than 3,000.

It ranges from $3K to $10K+
Artisan does enagement shoot, parents labums and all proofs and negs, thank yous, etc starting at $3300 when I looked (It may be more now because that was awhile ago) that was the least expensive price I saw when I was looking..but I hear Duet and 12th Night also have inexpensive packages
