Looking for Photographers quotes. Basically just need someone who is more on the Photojournalist side of shooting a wedding. laid back not up in your face all day.

it's kind of late, so you may not get many responses yet.
is there a particular budget you are working with for it?
you'll probably get tons of responses in the morning, if the thread stays on top.
btw--i see this is your first post---WELCOME!

Re: Photography $
I think that most photographers will do what you ask them to do, since you are paying them to do it. My Photographer my MOH used didnt seem to be anoying. Also depends on how many photographers you request. The more you have the more upin your face they will be.
Good Luck

You're best bet is to post this on the Vendors Helping Brides section -- and calling around to a few photographers to get an idea. Prices vary greatly!

Re: Photography $
I just saw 4 photographers in December so I'll give you what I was quoted.
I am looking for both photojounalistic and traditional, a digital album, two parent albums and a portrait or two.
Duet - love their work and they are reasonably priced. Package was $3,400.
Park Ave. Studio - very nice work. package was somewhere over $4,500.
T & T Studio (not a vendor on here) - nice work but didn't have a price list. quoted me for $3,300
Twelfth Night - Dominic, who I met with, was great! Very personable. They seperate pricing - albums are separate, you pay for that when you order it after the wedding. So you pay for two photographers, one for traditional and one for photojournalistic. I am looking to have the traditional one for 5 hours and the photojournalistic one for 8 hours. I think it was around $2,200. And you get a DVD slide show of the proofs.
Hope this helps!

Not necessarily true!! EAch has their own style and abilities, as well as limitations on what they are ABLE to do as well as what they'd be WILLING to change from their normal practice!
This can go for more than just photographers...it's best to find someone who's already doing as close to what you want as possible.

I saw a whole bunch of photographers and the one that most fits your description I would say would be North Island Photography. Go check him out. His price was very good for what you got. He also did my friend's wedding and he was totally not in the way. In fact, when we were at the church, we were looking for him to see where he was. He's a really nice guy too.

I second the North Island vote. We booked him for our wedding. I think his work is great, and he's a real regular down-to-earth guy. I wouldn't say his price is a bargain, but it's definitely not the highest quote we got.
