Okay, put twelfth night on my 'go see' list! But I need some more!
Silver Fox Pro-Line Studios
thanks, never heard of these! I'm headed to the brides review board right now to check them out
Silver Fox is going to be higher than $4000 for just pictures. Unless you do ala carte pricing then you might be ok.
I just met with TP and no he didn't quote you 09 prices -- I was in that range too for photography.
Not sure what Patken's prices are but you may want to try them too.
I am on the photographer hunt myself.
Does anyone know anything about Sherwood Triart?
Ohh yeah, patken and sherwood triart...4got about them...you girls are great
I actually got a AMAZING quote from Patken that included albums.
As far as I remember Silver Fox was not that expensive. I only saw people that were in my price range and they came very close to the quote I got from 12th Night.

Artisan is very fairly priced. You can also try Right Angle Studios & Patken.
He recently changed his prices, so I don't know what he'll say, but it doesn't hurt to look into it. He's a super nice guy and does great work. Check out his website and blog.

Try Patken, they've been great so far! Ugh, I wish I had my contract with me so I could tell you how much. But I think they were in the $3000-$4000 range for pics .... I'll confirm when I get home

Re: Photography
Sherwood Triart is incredible but VERY VERY expensive!!
Try ADA Photography. I have a combination package (photography, videography, photojournalist and tons of albums and prints) for 6200 but i know that they had smaller packages that were more reasonable!

Re: Photography
For $2000 you can get both photo/video but basic packages only from many popular LIW vendors. Usually it includes pretty much just them taking the pictures and proofs. But you can make your own album. Curiousgeorge did this. FM her and check out her review.

Re: Photography
I am in the same boat as you.
So far I was recommended Sharpshooters (LIwedding vendor who is independent and works out of home). I saw his work this weekend and he was VERY nice and his prices are awesome (2800-3200 for magazine style albums, plus engagement shoot, parent albums, ect.).
As for name vendors, someone recommended Duet. I am meeting with them wednesday i can let you know how that goes.
