We are still in the market for a photographer and videographer. We are looking for photojournalistic photos and some traditional here is the catch, FH ideal price is $4,000 and under.
Who are you guys using for photography and any details you want to share?

We're using Duet. The package we chose was $5k but there are definitely packages less than that. I would definitely recommend them! We chose Sam as our photographer and his style seems to be exactly what you are looking for. It's worth a shot! Good Luck!

we are using glenmar studios in roslyn...our package cost about 6400, but I am sure you could choose whatever you want and make it fall in your price range...that includes the videographer!

Definitely check out Paul Marino Photography and Bellarino videographer. They are both amazing. My sister and her sister in-law both used Paul and their photos came out GREAT!!!

Katie Lyman...she is out of brooklyn but work the trip. Very down to earth and you get HER as your photog! My packages was $4K.

We're using Proline. I believe our package for photo and video was somewhere around $5,000. But you can mix and match and sort of make a package if you want. I know they have a photojournalistic photographer, but I think it costs more to add them on to the package. You can check out their website and request a quote, and they'll email you their pricing. If it seems reasonable, I'd recommend meeting with them to see if you can work something out for your budget.

are you looking for just photos, or albums and enlargements, too? someone posted today in fact on the BHB board about someone who does beautiful albums on the side, so you don't have to get the albums from your photographer and save some $

Did he say if he could give you one of his other photographers? We actually used Thomas Paul but didn't have Tom we had Brian who was just as great as Tom!! Some proofs are in my album if your interested.
