ita with 12th night. we searched for a long time looking for a photog under 3k. but if you also want an album, things start getting pricey.
12th night was the best and most professional of what we saw (and we saw alot!!) and they can work with your budget.
if you really dont want an album or dont care, you can find places for 1800+. i have a list at home if you want.
but either way - check out 12th night!!! great work and great photogs on staff (more than 1- which was important to us)!

I hope so since our budget is $2500
J'adore Love starts at $1500 and they are actually really nice (from what I've seen so far) Duet and Thomas Paul I believe work within your budget as well.
Yea but you don't get much for the money. They charge extra for albums, enlargements, thank yous and if you want over 8 hours of coverage it's extra. Not worth it in the long run.
Which one are you talking about? The J'adore Love packages run the gamut and they are willing to personalize for you.
I've heard the same about Duet and Thomas Paul

I am getting the following for less than $1500 from Nick G. Photography
- Engagement shoot at a location of your choosing - Full day wedding photography coverage (no time limit and no overtime charges) - DVD of hi-res pictures from e-shoot and wedding day. All pictures are in color AND b/w, and are free of company logos, watermarks or copyright protection. (in the contract, you are also getting fullrights to do what you wish with the pictures) - Internet gallery for your guests to view pictures, and the ability to order prints if they would like - DVD slide show of various pictures from throughout your wedding day set to the music of your first dance song

If you tell them what you want then they will work with you to give your the best possible price. The package with the album starts at 2500 without parent albums, which I plan on doing myself anyway. The albums at any photographer are very expensive. The $1500 is for people who just want the coverage and if you needed extra coverge they won't kill you. As a matter of fact they might even work it out so they stay until its finish and don't charge you. Talk to them and see

Thomas Paul! You may have to sacrifice paper proofs, which we did, but you get the CD of your pictures, and hello, 85 dollars on Snapfish vs. 500 for proofs...not a hard choice LOL.

What do you mean by enlargements? They Give you full high res images , and you have full rights to all of your images. There first package includes coverage, two photographers and editing. I'm booking them next week , I spoke to jenn today and she was beyond nice! I'm going with the 2,500 package . It includes a 12x12 and 8 hour coverage. I think they are definitely worth it!(they are going to capture one of the most important days in my life =) ) If anyone is thinking of booking them , I would suggest calling them instead of e-mailing , there are very flexible and willing to work with you.
Good luck Dona! You will just know what photographer is right for you!

I agree. Jenn is such a lovely person. She will exceed all your expections of a vendor. I agree calling them is the fastest way to get in touch with them. I think for the quality of their work and what you get I think its work it. Any photographer that you go with is going to cost you an arm and a leg for prints but I don't think they charge alot for prints but if you compare it to snapfish then yea its expensive but if you have the rights anyway why not get the prints yourself and save money.
