Photography help?

Photography help?

What do we REALLY need for photography packages...?

I'm figuring 8 hours (ceremony on site, gives 2 hrs 'getting ready')?
Digital CD/ no watermarks
1 book (will get parents later)
2 photographers? (we may be separate before wedding)

anything else? Any idea of price ranges? How far out should we book?

Thanks :)

you got the basics covered, although personally i would want a hard copy of all proofs along with the CD.

albums, enlargements and thank you cards can be done later with diff companies/websites

That sounds good. An album through the photog isn't even necessary, though it's nice.

I would def get a package that is 8-10 hrs with 2 photgraphers. You def have to shop around. It ranges from $1000 + depending on the package you select & extras.

Book your photgrapher early!

Sorry I saw that your wedding is kind of far away. I would say 12-14 months in advance if there is a photographer you love & is popular.

I got engaged in April and by May found a photog I wanted for Oct 2012, they were already booked for my day. It worked out for the best because I love my photog that I ended up booking with but if there is one you love its never too early to book in my opinion. FM me if you want info on my photo, they are in your price range and give you exactly what you are looking for.

Book your photographer early!! I just booked mine and my wedding is next November.

I would suggest having your photographer for 10 hours, depending on how close your ceremony and reception are time wise. Usually a photographer is willing to work with you on the package (i.e. if the package comes with 2 parent albums and you only want one, they can take one off and give you a credit).
