Went to Jovan and Creative Comp. tonight. Both were wonderul- Jovan a bit cheaper and we really hit it off with the photographer we would have, Telmo.
Jovan:

Prefer Jovan, even though CC was amazing- just out of budget--- I really would prefer closer to $5 but the quality was amazing!
Any suggestions?

I used Jovon and really loved my pictures. Their customer service isn't wonderful at all but the pictures make up for it. I've heard nothing but AMAZING things abouT Telmo. FM is you have any more questions.

I'm using Creative Comp - i didnt see Jovon so i cant compare - but FH and I really clicked with the photographer and that is what made our decision - which photographer did you meet with at creative?

those prices sound a bit high in my opinion, though i only looked at one photographer so i can't be sure. i am using imagine studios, their pics and videos are AMAZING (see the recent post with the beautiful proofs!!), and i am payin $6700 for a package that is comparable to the ones you presented.

I met with Creative Compositions but not Jovon. Like AtticaQT, we really loved the photographers we met with. True, the prices are high, but I think the work speaks for itself. The only reason we didn't book them was because my fiance has a very strong preference for film rather than digital. If you really loved one versus the other, then pick the one you liked more.

I had Telmo for my wedding! He is amazing!!! I also had Vittorio as my photojournalist! They were so wonderful!
My only issue with them was their service from a particular person who is no longer there. My proofs are so great - better than any of my friends that I have seen! You will not be disappointed!!

I am using CC. I think they are great. But from your email it is hard to tell whether you prefer Jovon b/c you like them better or b/c CC is out of your budget.
If it is the former, I would definitely pick Jovon then!! But just keep in mind that some past brides have had customer service problems with them. I also heard that they show you all of these pics but they are not necessarily the pics of the photographer you are getting.
If its because CC is out of your budget, then maybe they will work with you a little more.

Check out DUET, the first package you listed looks like DUET's only DUET has more. The package includes the video and was about half of what you said.

i would check leli - gary has a similar quality to creative - likes angle shots like CC
