did you guys give your photographer SPECIFIC pictures to take? i.e. bride with hs friend, etc.??
He did not ask for specific shots..just that he will get everyone.
Do you think it would be okay to have group shots of friends? (not table pictures though..)
UGH..my last stress!!
also....photographer is going to start at 1130 and video guy isnt' coming until 130..is that normal? or should i ask video to come earlier?

No idea about video, but it's fine to take pictures with whatever groups you want! Don't go crazy though- it'll take away time from your reception!

I didn't....I just made sure to tell him to get the traditional shots I.E- cake, father daughter dance..etc. They konw the key pics to get, but you can always call him/her..that's what I did, to ease my mind!

One shot that I really wanted but didn't ask for and didn't get (yes, that was a dumb move) was a photo of DH's reaction when he saw me walking down the aisle. I was DEF looking forward to seeing that since I couldn't see anything on the day of - it was all a blur!

I don't want to micromanage and go too crazy but i thought it would be nice to have a few group shots and then let him do his thing...he's the expert!!

Yeah, i'm sure he'll get the major group shots covered - but if there are any specifics that you're afraid he'll miss, definitely bring those to his attention. You're paying him after all!
