Photography Packages

Ok so FH and I are not into the whole engagement shoot, but most packages we have come across include this. If you had to put a number on what the engagement shoot itself would cost you, how much would you think? Trying to figure out how much we could possibly negotiate down or get extra something else.

Most E shoots are 500. I think most places will work with you on that.

Sometimes the engagement shoot that they put into the package is already being offered at a discounted price... but removing it should take a few hundred off of your overall package.

It should come down a few hundred.. but if they don't negotiate on the price maybe you two could do a post wedding shoot.. like a trash the dress in lieu of the engagement shoot?

That's a good idea too! I figured just add other things to the package, either more shooting time, or something extra with the albums.

ADA is $175.oo out in Suffolk and $340 in Nassau and if you get the package like I did with east wind it is free.

I will we just dont want the engagement shoot Id rather use that money elsewhere with the photography, if it is for more hours of shooting, or an upgrade with albums, or something else added to our package....

Would someone mind sharing their quotes and any reviews they have with me as well? FH and I are looking to do an e-shoot as well as two photographers at the wedding (suffolk county) for a March wedding.

Jessica Layburn photography did my shoot. Way less than anyone on Long Island!!! She's amazing, and sent my photos in less than 2 weeks!!! Totally recommend her!!
