PHOTOGRAPHY REVIEW
YEY....I'm a duet bride! After dragging FI around to meet with many photographers, we finally made a choice and signed with Duet for photo and video. I am very excited. We're getting the deluxe studio book :)
Since I saw so many photographers/videographers I thought I post some miny reviews:
Duval Photo - they were great. Came very close to picking them over Duet. It was a hard choice between the two. Their prices were good and the guys were awesome. They are more traditional. Less photojournalism (that's what I liked about Duet).
Lady Kat - great work. Very artistic. She was very friendy and you could tell she cared alot about her clients and really got to know their personallities. Her books were so so, a little outdated and traditional. Did not do video.
Duet - obiviosuly I loved them :)
Bart Stevens - work was good, both video and photo. However a little overpriced priced (IMO).
Patken - I know many brides-to-be on here say great things about them, but I didn't have the best meeting. Don't know why, but just got a negative vibe. Also they were a little more pricey. The package we could have afforded was very basic - but I did really like their work.
Devito in RVC - good work, more traditional, very nice and willing to work with you. Worked with Lyn-Den Video, which was also pretty standard.
Pageant - another traditional photographer. Work was good. Had some nice choices of albums.
Rainbow - they are very reasonably priced and their work is not bad for the cost.
Overall we choose Duet caused we loved their work and they gave us the best package for the price.
