photography search has begun...........

Hi Ladies,
Fh & I have started our photography search. We saw two today.. Patken & Jo Von.
Patken - didn't really get a good impression from the women who helped us. The photos were amazing though. I also didn't like the idea of not knowing the photographer until after we booked with them. Price with video - $5,000

Jo Von -OMG I fell in love with them. Very warm...friendly..got along great with the photographer. They actually did a friends wedding a few weeks ago and he remembered us...one think....the price..with video - it was $6,500 but included a ton of proofs with you keep...e-pics...parent albums...our album..& a ton of photos etc. - any suggestions on how to negotiate????...I really liked them & their work

I have an appt with Velvet studio monday so I will keep you posted.

LOVE Velvet. They did my sister's wedding last year (jeanla4c if you want to see pics) and we booked them a few months back. Bob is great! Good Luck!

that sounds like pretty good prices with video .....maybe you can negotiate a little by paying cash? im not very good in the bargain dept either!

i went with Right Angle Studio, and spoke to George who is the photographer and ower of the company.....he is great, and has a wonderful personality. He also does video.

If you like Jo Von that much, go back and tell them your budget. Let them work for you and they will. However, I will say that I don't think that price sounds so bad for all the pics and a video, especially from Jo Von.
