I don't have a lot of time in between my ceremony and reception (both are in Howard Beach). Does anyone know of any photo sites with a park-like setting in Brooklyn or Queens? I love the BK Botanical Gardens, but they close at 4:30pm and that's the earliest time that I can get there. Thanks!

go to the beach in breezy pint...you really need to have a parking pass but if you are only there 15min it shouldn't be a problem...on the bayside there are great views of nyc...breezy is about 10-15 min away from howard beach

Under the Brooklyn Bridge - the promenade, it's gorgeous there!

The Broklyn Bridge Park btwn the Manhattan and Bkln Bridge, Marine park & the Creek. I know its not really a park like area but you could probably get some nice shots at Coney Island too.

My sister got married at 2pm in Bayside and her reception was at Russo's (CH started at 7). We went to the Queens Botanical Gardens in between. It was totally unexpected how GORGEOUS it was. Beautiful gardens and so convenient. Definitely check it out. It looks here like it's open until 6pm in May!
How about by the Whitestone bridge? I dont know how much time you have but its not far from Howard Beach... plus you get a beautiful view and its free

There is the pier in Sheepshead Bay over by Rollin Roaster... or a bit further down. If you want you can go over to Kingsboro Community College it is right on the water and has some nice spots for pictures too
