A family friend is our primary photographer at our wedding on 11/24/2010. He's definitely talented but on the slow side and maybe a little inexperienced. he's done weddings before and I definitely trust his eye...
BUT my fiance and I do not plan on seeing eachother prior to the ceremony. (It's the ONE THING he's adament about!) I am now getting nervous about trying to 'fit in' all the formal pics during cocktail hour.
Any ideas if any studios (I was thinking lovemorephoto) would come help out during that crazy hour and a half???? Any idea how much this would cost me?
Or should I just have this heart attack!?!

It wouldnt hurt to ask them... I know theyve done a wedding when they werent the only photog...
I just dont know if they will only come for an hour and a half....

i'm not sure how much that would help, to be honest... you and your FH would want to be in all the pics together so having an extra photographer won't help get more angles (just more shots of the same pose).
it took DH and I about an hour and a half for pictures (pre-ceremony) and we missed A LOT of them.
maybe you can just do the basic pictures during CH and then take additional pictures the following day (or week)?

You could try my guy, I did know his wife was recently transferred to Toronto, and but he should be on the island the week of my wedding, mine's 4 days before yous.

One of my photographers is independant and his work is amazing. He was actually one of the vendors that gave a photo shoot away at the 09 NW lunch. His name is william chang. I booked him only for the reception. I'm sure he will give you a great price for the hour and a half you need him.
