I'm going to meet with Duet this evening. I'm interested in photography and video. Can you ladies give me an idea of what I should be asking for. I know I want engagement photos, but I'm new to this wedding thing and clueless about what I need. Please help me lol.

ask if you can have HI RES dvd of your pics, ask how many pics per page, how many images you get and how many pages, ask about what happens if it rains, what time the photographer gets your house, what time they leave the rh, work experience who will be doing your wedding and look at a sample of their work (not anyones elses)

they have preset packages but def negotiate bc they were totally willing to throw things in when i met with them.

NEGOTIATE NEGOTIATE NEGOTIATE. You can get alot of things thrown into the set packages. I took a package that wasn't as much and then asked if they could include the things I wanted. Speak to Eric, if he is available.

find out how long u have both photogs for, same for video
how many pages in ur album? how many pics in parents ablums.

Also, do you get rights to your pics and/or proofs?
My photographer gives us complete rights to all of our pics, so we can take our dvd to CVS or Walmart or wherever and print our own pictures instead of always having to order pics from them.

Our photographer is doing the same thing. He is giving us a DVD at the end of our party. He gave us written permission on his company letterhead when we signed the contract. $1200.00 for a full coverage with e-pix. After the wedding I can go back to him at any time for albums & pay for them then.
