Hi Ladies, I am curious....do you all think it is better to book the photographer and videographer from the same company or do you think you should book them separately?
I am wondering if they need to work well together in order to do the best job or should I just try and book the best folks from each and they will work it out?

I would book together if you can because you might be able to get a good price on a package but there is no problem with booking separately

I'm booking seperate because my photographer doesn't offer video but if he did it would really depend on the video quality to me.

Re: Photography/Videography - Together or Separate?
I dont believe photo/ video combination is always a great idea. I am saving more and getting quality in both areas since each vendor KNOWS WHAT they are doing in their field.
I hate cheesy wedding videos and it was important to us to have something we can actually watch without old school transitions and poor quality.
It depends which route you wanna go but i still think you can save without jeopardizing quality for service you are getting.

Re: Photography/Videography - Together or Separate?
I booked separate because I loved my photographer and I am still looking for a good and affordable video person. I work in TV so I'm really picky about video..

I think it depends if you are looking to save money. Usually if you get a photo/video package from your photographer, it would be cheaper. However, we booked separate and are 100% happy.
