did anyone also order a photojournalism photographer. They are kind of expensive (like 800 extra) - do you think its just a gimmick and the regular photographer could take the same pics?

Re: Photojournalism Photographer
extra money!!!! I am using Dennis from Visual Image he is doing half photo journalism and half posed.. No extra charage. we have a small wedding so he said that sometimes for large weddings he will have have one guy doing posed and he will do the photojournalism. But there was no extra charge if we wanted all photojournalism. That's silly! Or maybe i just have a really nice guy for my photographer?

Re: Photojournalism Photographer
I have 2 photographers and a lighting assistant. IMO, no, one single photographer could not get what both a formal and a PJ can.

I would definitely get the PJ. Think of how many extra pictures you are going to get.

Re: Photojournalism Photographer
My photographer is an freelance photojournalist. She usually photographs things for magazines and newspapers, but she does a few weddings a year. I like it better than traditional photography, imo.

Re: Photojournalism Photographer
We just got our proofs and we had the traditional and photojournalist. I think I like the photojournalist shots better. You should definitely have a PJ. We paid extra but not because he was a PJ, but just because he was a second photographer. Our main photographer also did PJ photos.
