Photojournalistic photographer (with some traditional)??
Hi - I am trying to find a reasonably priced photojournalistic photographer who will take traditional pics as well - this has been my toughest decision yet and I have yet to find anyone!! I have met with:
1) Duet (too expensive) 2) Patken (not available on my date) 3) Dan Wagner (not available) 4) Perceptions Photography (Anthony not available, considering Geraldine - an asst) 5) Jessica Photography (too traditional) 6) ASI Photography - (freelance photographer, very beautiful pics, but girl is very young I'm a little worried about experience level)
HELP!! If anyone has any recommendations, I would appreciate it....Thanks.

We're using Chuck at Artisan & he does both & can work a package out for you. I have some of our epics in our community album & Leslie (goldi) has used him (along w/ a number of other girls). I highly recommend them

did you try 12th night? The prices are great and they have fabulous reviews. 12th night

I posted this on another thread just below this one...
We used Twelfth Night Photo and absolutely loved our pictures. You could see some of my pictures posted in my review. Also, if you search the review board you could see pictures from many other brides also taken by Twelfth Night. There's also a thread on the 06 board. Love them!!

Do these photographers have a 'photojournalistic' style?? I really like the unique shots and candids, although I definitely want some of the traditional as well....Let me know what you think. Thanks!!

If you visit the 12th night website, you'll see that they do photojournalistic and traditional. We're doing more photojournalistic with some traditional shot also.

Absolutely!! If you read my review and see my pictures (as well as those of other brides on here who have used them) you'll see both traditional shots and photojournalistic shots!!

I am using Moments by Tessie and Sandi. There work is mostly photojournalistic, however you tell them all the traditional pics that you want. There are prices are somewhat pricey, however they have numerous packages and can adapt to anyones budget. I think its worth checking out. FM me if you want more info.

we are using jimmy from fine art-- the photojournalistic look was a HUGE thing for me and i also needed to make sure some traditionals were taken. another LIW bride used him too and her pics are unbelievable!!

I am using jenniferdavisphotography and think she is amazing! If you live in LI she is definitely worth the trip to her Manhattan showroom. She does photojournalistic and will take traditionals as well. She is also really really reasonable!
