Re: Photoshop...
I have photoshop CS2 which is like a professional version. After I got it, I found out from my IT friend that it takes about a year to learn how to completely use that program. And he said that is for people who are into computers, that even IT tech guys take a year to learn it. It is pretty hard, but there are many tutorials and I did learn how to do quite a few things, but it is not easy. And not one of those self-explanatory and eventually you'll figure out, basically you have to find out the steps and stuff.

Re: Photoshop...
I have CS too.... oh, you can do anything with it.... BUT, that is purely theory..... because like already mentioned, the learning curve is the limiting factor.
I need to use it for work, so I've 'dabbled in it' for about 5 years, picked up a few extra tips from a graphics artist friend of mine, and now am basically proficient....
To let you in on the 'secret powers' of CS..... When FH and I got engaged, we were sitting on the couch on 2/14, we already had dinner, dessert, and a WHOLE BOTTLE OF WINE. I looked like$hi! and had no make-up He took pictures of us by holding the camera and posing with me... his thumb got into many pictures...
Now the magic of photoshop: I cropped out this thumb, made the picture an oval, cloned clear skin and covered a few pimples on each of us, removed our red-eye, blurred my skin to mimick make-up, and added a barbara walters filter....... I think I may have even adjusted my lips to mimick lipstick
no need for make-up, we have photoshop!
