I was thinking about getting Photoshop for some DIY projects but it is so expensive. I found a brand new Photoshop CD on ebay for a reasonable price, but it's the 5.0 version. Has anyone worked with this? Do you think I should get it?

YOu may be better off getting photoshop elements or paint shop pro, which are cheaper... try it first tho, download it at download.com or tucows.com
I'm using Photoshop CS and would never go back to 5.0..so many more cool features! :D

I have adobe photoshop. My FH loves it and I like using powerpoint better. I made my save the dates in powerpoint. I would see what you can do in powerpoint or you could even use print shop.They are both less expensive.

they also have student and teacher discounts on adobe products... look into thatif you are or know anyone who is a student... the discounts are pretty big...

if u go to adobe' website - u can downloas photoshop for a30 day free trial - be sure you like it before you purchase it have fun!!!!
