Photoshop anyone??

I have a pic I REALLY LOVE of myself and FH, but there are PEOPLE in the background. I'm trying to make my own STD's and it just looks so GHETTO!! LOL

Does anyone know how to use photoshop to change or do something to the background of my picture? I'm savvy , but not THAT savvy.. lol

TIA!
