Re: Phototgraphy
there are SOO many different ranges for photography and it all depends what you are looking for... we choose to just take the proofs and digital photos for $1500...
also, make sure you figure out if you want digital or film... that will effect price as well!!
good luck on your search!

Re: Phototgraphy
I'm getting 2 photographers, at least 800 proofs, all on CD, able to be copied for free for under $2,000 (If I remember correctly) from 12th night.

i am a duet bride too- they are fabulous and will 'alter' packages to your needs!
When you say digital proofs what does that mean? do you have to develop the pictures yourself?

Photography is one of those areas in a wedding where you can spend as little as $1,000 and as much as $10,000. Everyone has different needs. I am spending $5800 for my photographer which includes 2 full photographers and an assistant. We are also getting a coffee table album which are more expensive and we have an engagement session, Thank you notes, 2 parent albums, and more which I can't remember right now :)

Re: Phototgraphy
We are spending around 5K for our package that includes two photographers (one traditional, one photojournalist) and one videographer...both from Velvet Studios.

I can't recommend Jack and Margaret from Something in Blue enough. Their work is amazing.
However, it depends on the style and price that you're looking for. Do you want traditional, posed shots, or more of a photojournalistic style? How much are you willing to spend? How many hours do you want?
