My friend is getting married next July and is interested in a good photo package with video for about 5K. She is flexible. Do you all have any suggestions for her? She is on LI and want an LI based photographer, which is why I couldn't help her much. I appreciate all of your help.

I know Duet has a photo/video package for $5500. Maybe she could talk them down if she took out some of the extras like parent albums. I don't know how their videos are but their photos are great.

you may want to try Mark Kauffman in port jeff...
I know he has some basic photography packs (1k proofs + pics for frames and cards, no album) for about 3500... so I bet basic video included could be about 5k.
best part..... our pics were amazing.... very artistic and flattering.....

12th night with mittermax.. i am getting two photographers and two videographers, along with 3 dvds of the video, and three dvd slideshows of all of the taken set to music, along with other extras for under 5k..

yes we're sincerly happy.. and we're getting the owner of the videographer and i think the owner of he photography company.. (not sure on that one).. fh did his negotiating thing but they are really REALLY good.. even without his master haggling skills it would've come to 5100... so we knocked some off of it to gt it under 5.. but even at reg price it was super affordable.. tell u'r fried to check them out.. mittermax has a website that shows a sample video.. it's GREAT!! so creative and unlike normal run of the mill wedding videos.. this one i set up like a movie in the beginning..

wow thats a great deal!! good for you!! I am having Velvet who Im sure will be great .... we just booked right after we got engaged and im worried I should have looked around ... the price tho, was fabulous! Bob is great - Id check them out too!

Duet gave me 4,300 for both Leli was 5,150 for both and more then Duet Velvet gave me 4,900 and it was a good package Just went today
