Still have not booked either... I really loved Verdi but might be out of price range.
Any other suggestions- I am looking for two photographers- I love a lot of romantic shots... but very simple- mix between photjournalisitc and regular.
As far as video- I feel like I keep seeing so many cheesy videos- lots of graphics and unnecessary parts- haven't seen anything I am too impressed with?
Who was the best in both areas that you saw- whether or not you booked them?

Re: Photo/Video Help
I had only seen a couple of photographers in Westchester, where I live, and then I went to see Duet. I was completely impressed by their work, and by their prices. The video had some graphics that I could do without, but they'll only do what you want. I may be annoying, but I do plan on playing a role in the editing.

Re: Photo/Video Help
Not sure of your budget, but we just met with these amazing videographers... The Holder Brothers
They only have a very small clip on their website, but we met with them the other night and saw a lot of their work. We fell in love with them and their reel. Very simple and documentary film like. No unnessecary graphics etc... Real, honest storytelling.
We also met with the photographer they recommend, Karen Cunningham and really loved her too.
Good luck!

We are using Proline. I found that their video was very nice, great sound, and not too many graphics (they really work with you to get u what you want)
For the photographers, you only get one , but can get a photojournalist for extra money. Their pictures looked wonderful and they meet with you for an extended appointment to create your album with you. FM me if you need more info. :)

Hey Bridget! We have the same vendors!
I also was most impressed with Mark Kaufman and Wild Rose. No dumb poses, no cheesy graphics on the video. Nice mix of classic shots and photojournalism.

Re: Photo/Video Help
I went with LCA Studios for my video, Frank was really professional, and easy to work with. He knew exactly what I wanted in my video, and produced it. I was so impressed with his work after seeing his demo, that I had picked up from the marriot bridal show. He was will to work with me, which meant alot , when looking for a vender. He gave me the best christmas present ever, my wedding movie. I still watch it to this day and it still makes me laugh and cry. He picked up every special moment without the cheesiness.
You can see samples of his work under sneak previews and also request a free demo at his website. Before you decide on a videographer I would see his work. FM me if you have anyother questions.

Re: Photo/Video Help
I saw A LOT of photographers, my brain was fried by the end! I was impressed with a few but the one I went with (Silverfox) just had all the elements I was looking for. It's a really difficult thing because it's the only thing you have to look back at. You need to be comfortable before you decide. Just my $.02!!! Good Luck!
