Does anyone have the photographers going to FH house before the ceremony as well as yours ?

My photog has an assistant so I would like the assistant to go to where my FH is getting ready to take some pics. I wanted to do the same with video but it's an extra $800 for a 2nd camera guy! So I'm going to send my Dad over with my video camera and ask him to get some footage of the guys - then my videographer said he would put some of that footage in my final video. I'm also going to ask my FH to take his digital camera and get some shots. I think its important to capture them getting ready just as much as me.

We have one photographer going to my FH's parents house, and another photographer & videographer coming to my parents house!

yes - we do
we are using duet and they are sending us two photographers - one will come to me and my family and bms and the other will go to DH-----
i think it will be nice!!!

I wanted to have this, but DH had 15 relatives getting ready at his house the morning of the wedding and there were 3 air mattresses in the living room.
It just didn't work out.

Its so funny this post came up because I keep thinking about this. I would love shots of the guys getting ready but we have one photographer and assistant. Do photographers go to where the groom is staying as well or is that a definte no or a yes with extra money.

me and FW are staying at same hotel night before (oppposite sides of hotel - she gets room service if anything is needed)
video is covering both of us (her getting ready/documenty and me for documenty) havn't discussed the photographer but we will have 2 of them...im sure 1 (PJ) wouldn't mind coming over and hang out with the boys

This is one of many reasons why we chose Duet. I recently went to a wedding where my FI was in the wedding party and I had to drop him off at the grooms house. I took my camera just in case, and thank God I did. I was the only one that took pics of the groom getting ready.

same here we are using Duet so we will each have a photographer when we are getting ready! I think it's a good thing b/c I would love to see pics of my FI getting ready on our big day!
