so I guess the baby is getting REALLLY COMFY in there ! They just dont wanna come out when we want them to !

oh anna- this seems to almost be the worse part of the whole preg! I go from, well, what can you do? its up to the baby- to feeling a bit blue and concerned and really EXHAUSTED carrying around all this weight.
Lots of pressure hanging low.
Dr appt on Tues for a post date stress test..to ck the baby's heartbeat, ck the aminotic fluid, etc..as the plactena starts to get a bit tired too...
REally hoping that this baby decides to come into this world soon- dont want to have to induce and deal with the steamroller of Pit.
Would also probably mean that after a while, the contractions come on hard and furious and that I may not be able to do this without an epidural- which I wanted to avoid....
oh brother- this is getting pretty tiring!

I know I should be on the other board...but I come over here everyday to check to see if you have had the baby yet! I am thinking about you and I hope that baby decides to join us in the world real soon!

Phyl,

I can totally relate to what you feel, Brandon was due on 12/21. The Dr finally put me in on 12/29 to deliver him. Wow 10 years ago!!

Hang in there, maybe your little one wants to make a 'grand entrance' for New Years

just got a call from the drs office...the dr wont be in so instead they sked the tests at the hospital instead...and after the tests, they want me to fo to the dr office...
pls keep fingers crossed that they ck me out and see that I am ready to go...that all is ok but im ready to deliver!

How long overdue are you? I'll keep my fingers crossed for you! I have a feeling that since you're at least a week overdue, you'll be induced tomorrow and will be having a New Year's Eve baby!!!

nope- not yet

hi ladies-
Tests went smoothly...baby's heartbeat was very strong. Sonogram showed the baby kicking up a storm...and then they did it in color to see if there was enuf amino fluid in there. And that turned out well too.
Afterwards, went directly to the drs office...they checked...and I am 1 centimeter and 50% effaced.

Said baby's head is not low enuf just yet.

Another appt at the hospital this Friday...unless I start delivering b4 then.

If not, then another round of tests...on Friday I will be 13 days overdue.
In laws are very anxious to meet their newest grandchild...
so, keep your fingers crossed..and prayers coming

At least, I am relieved to know all is ok...it is just a stubborn child
