Hi, I am sorry that I cannot help you but I just wondering what catering hall in Staten Island you are having your reception at? I was actually contemplating a place in Staten Island and a place in Long Island but I can't decide which one I would like to have my reception at so I'm just curious as to the place you picked. Thanks.

Re: PIANIST

Hi... Well, since im going away (to bahamas) to actually get married a month before.. Im not sure the correct name for it.. could be called a wedding celebration, a party... but its not really going to be a 'wedding reception'..Its going to be more like a 4 hour ****tail party.. A bunch of stations, and looking for a mellower type of music.. Its at the Grand Plaza.. Not to put the Grand Plaza down, but I wouldnt go there to have a wedding reception...There are better places to have them in SI.. The Statten, the South Shore Country club, Renassaince are great places that are very pretty.. If yoiu need anymore info, let me know.. Good luck

Re: PIANIST

I had a wonderful pianist at my wedding.

His name is Jim Lowe. He lives in Long Island so I am not sure how far he travels.

He is a class act. He sings and his repertoire is over 500 songs.

I do not have his number on me but do a search on here, his number will come up.

I am using Jim Lowe as well. He is a wonderful pianist, and has a beautiful singing voice. He is located in Coram though. I don't know how far he would be willing to travel. It doesn't hurt to contact him anyway though. Good Luck

Re: PIANIST

July...If your going to look at the old bermuda inn, go look at the Grand Plaza... Its just as nice..What i meant by not having a wedding reception there and to go look at the other places was that the other places are bigger.. The grand Plaza just has one big room, so your ****tail and reception are in the same room... If you dont mind that kind of setting, go look....

Chari,

I looked at the Old Bermuda Inn already and I thought it was nice.. The cocktail hour is in another room.. which I like so I guess I wouldn't like the Grand Plaza. I heard that now the food at the Bermuda Inn is good but I think over three years ago it wasn't that great (they got a new chef within the last couple of years) . Thanks for the info
