I'm thinking of hiring a pianist from a piano studio I used to teach at for our cocktail hour, but I'm not sure how much to charge for the hour. These are college students that are majoring in music/music education. What do you think would be a reasonable price to charge? I'm already spending a good amount on a DJ, string quartet, and Sinatra singer so I'm trying to keep this as low as possible!

Re: Pianist for Wedding - what to charge?
Dont they tell you how much they charge to play? Or are they letting you tell them what you want to pay?

Re: Pianist for Wedding - what to charge?
thanks for the feedback! :) they're all piano teachers at a piano studio so most have never played at a wedding before. since they're not professionals i was thinking of paying $100.. is that too low? i don't want to insult anyone.
