Pic added.Which do you perfer? Black Magic or Red roses w/ this dress?

I have boerdaux colored BM dresses by Jim Hjelm. Are Black Magic very dark or should I get red for my bouquet?

They are very deep, velvety red.
I love them...

But they tend to look very dark in pics...So my florist told me to
inform my photographer about it and see if extra lighting is
necessary. My florist said no esp. since i am having a day wedding

yes, black magic roses look very dark...here's a pic of my girlfriend with her black magic rose bo-k...I think they look better in person than in pictures. JMO

I think you could go with either. The Black Magic roses would add a nice contrast. If you're unsure, what about a different rose - there are so many different roses within the Red family, I'm sure your florist could work with you and your swatches.

I think Black Magic may be too dark.

The dress is beautiful, but I think it will clash with the bouquet. I think red roses will match better.

Personally, I think a lighter shade of red - than your dress- would look better than a darker shade.

.... But that is just me. And no one ever accused me of being too creative or too good in fashion!

If the flowers are just for you, i'd say go red, Its closer to the dresses color.
if its for the BMs, then black magic, so there is contrast.
Or you could both have black magic.

Thanks! I wanted red so I think it will match better. The dress lady at Burtons said black magic and I took her advise but I didnt think it was a good choice after. The dress is more red than burgandy. You girls are the best!

JMO... I don't think I would use either one. I would use someting lighter, even white, for more of a contrast. I think it is too much red. You could be the one to carry the red ones to complement the BM's.
