Picked the BM dress yesterday...having second thoughts...

So I went with my FH's sisters and FMIL to pick the BM dress. I picked this dress in exactly this color it looked beautiful on the girls but I'm having second thoughts it wasn't the 'look' I planned on (never thought of doing purple/eggplant color) and I'm not sure if its too plain looking? Please give me opinion I can still change the color & dress (b/c they don't order the dresses until all my girls put a deposit on it)

personally - i think it's incredibly elegant & wouldn't change it!

you can jazz it up if you want to with silver shoes, silver, sparkley jewelery!

Yeah I was definately thinking of doing metallic (gold or silver strappy heels)...I just didn't plan on doing a dark color...but the girls are much more self conscious in the light colors b/c its chiffon...and I think that the color itself is gorgeous...just for May I'm feeling like is it too dark?

I don't think so at all!!! I wore a VERY similar color last year in August & was just fine! Add in some sparkley bracelets & sandals and your girls will be happy! You said it best - they're self conscious in a lighter color....i'd rather have my girls in a dark color and look genuinely happy than in a bright color & forcing smiles because they feel like they don't look their best - ya know?

we wore that EXACT color for my sister's wedding and it looked great on everyone - that was my fave dress of all the weddings i've been to. i love it; i would not change it.
