Picking a Photographer...

Original post by TGs Lady 22908

Hi Girls!!!

I'm in the process of making photography appointments. I have this list here that I've made of photographers that get alot praise on the boards and some of the reccomended photographers on the list from the Fox Hollow. I've got price sheets on a few of them but I'm trying to weed out the ones that don't really offer what I'm looking for (photojournalist, digital proofs, negatives etc.) or ones that are just flat-out out of my price range.

I'm asking you girls if you have any pricing information (or any information at all) on any of the photographers listed if you could FM me the info (I've already checked their websites!). Any reccomendations are welcome too!! My main goal here is not to go to any appointments blindly and to only go to the ones that I can be realisticly interested in. I only have 2 nights off a week so I want to spend them wisely .

The places I have in mind are:
ADA Studios (Already have $$)
--Cassarino Studios
--Patken (!! very interested in this one, but i have no info)
Marco Photographers (Already have $$)
Pro-Line (Already have $$)
--Sherwood-Triart
--Duet
12th Night (Already have $$)

THANK YOU!!!

We went to Howard Beach., but..
1-They are house vendors at Russo's
2-They are taking 10% off for the Winter
3-We are getting married on a Friday in February

They do great work!
PS They are going to stream still shots of us at the Church at the RH during Dinner., which is somethign I really wanted.

I'm in the same boat as you.
I looked at sherwood, proline and cassarino.
I liked proline reasonable prices, they are also known to have the best video.
cassarino I didn't like and have heard to many horror stories
Sherwood...I loved but they are very expensive and really out of my price range. I am trying to do everything in my power to get them at a cheaper cost. I'll kepp you all updated.
Friends used ADA for teh fox hollow wedding and they loved them.
