Picking out Album Pics

Any suggestions as to how to do this?
Is there a 'stardard' list of the types of pictures that should be in the album? I am feeling very overwhelmed!

i feel your pain...lol I just started picking out all the pictures I love. and then i'm going to go through that pile (which is hopefully much smaller ) and try to get it down. I'm also thinking of inviting a friend over once I have the smallest pile and help me sort through the final ones. I am trying to get a good mix of getting ready/ceremony/potriats and then party pics.
