currently in the middle of booking honeymoon and filling out form for pics at old westbury gardens. does anyone know the best place to take pics? here are my options: walled garden, cottage garden, boxwood garden, rose garden, south lawn & terrace. any thoughts? by the way, the cost is around $275. outrageous!!

Clark Gardens, nearby, is beautiful too and they cost a lot less! Don't know if you are interested in checking them out as an alternative.

Why not go to CW Post University? they have beautiful manicured gardens and I'm sure they won't bother you!

Spel- I booked Old Westbury Gardens for my wedding. I was told that I could just send in the deposit and reserve the time I want and then let them know which sections I am interested in using at a later date. I will go there when they open for the season and decide then.
Edited to add: Your photographer might have some good suggestions about which areas are nicest for pictures (most photographers on LI are very familiar with the gardens.)

I am also getting married at St. Brigids and taking pics ant Old Westbury! I have no idea what places though..

Steph: I just looked online at oldwestburygardens.org and there's pics of each garden. Did you look at that site yet? Very pretty! I can't wait to take pics there!
